Cats – Costume Contributions

Custom Unitard: 
When rented costumes proved faulty, I was tasked with designing and constructing a custom unitard for one of the actors. I experimented with textures and materials to achieve a strong visual match while ensuring the piece coordinated seamlessly with the existing rented wardrobe.

Peaks and Pollicles: 
Drawing inspiration from the scenic design of this Cats production, I was assigned to create the Peaks and the Pollicles using found objects one might discover in a theatre alley, such as paint cans. This project challenged me to transform unconventional materials into functional, visually striking costume pieces that enhanced the show’s distinctive aesthetic.
